Slipknot Bios
Sid is the youngest of the band being 22 and was born in Des Moines but the rest of his family is from England. Sid claims to suffer from Organic Brain Syndrome and maintains a constant rivalry with #6 which normally breakes into violence on stage causing many injuries. Joey is one of the original members of Slipknot along with Shawn and Paul. Joey is the shortest of the band measuring up at only 5'6 tall. He is the most talkative of the band and is apart of nearly every interview. Joey has been playing the drums for a hell of a long time and is one of the worlds most aggresive drummers with his fast as all shit double kicks and snare rolls which make him stand out in a crowd. Paul is the original co-founder of Slipknot along with Shawn. He says that the mask is the total opposite of him in the way that his considers himself a clean person but he wears it cause he of his indulgent personality and likes to freak people out with it. Chris was the first custom percussionists of the band. Softly spoken and a self-confessed joker he claims to have seen UFO's at Ingigo Ranch. He says that he is deeply influenced by the classic metal drummers such as Igor Cavalera and Dave Lombardo Jim was the last member to join the group, joining during the production of there debut album. He claims that joining Slipknot has changed his attitude between the differences of "right" and "wrong". He changed his mask after a few days of the album being release from a bondage hood to an evil jester mask , after having difficulties in playing live shows because he said it was like "playing underwater". He also says "I was a timid guy before I joined them. Now I'm a freak! Am I as borderline psychotic as the rest? Ask me in a month!". Jim is also the tallest member of the band mesuring up at 6'7 and is taller than Mick unlike what people say. He is also a self confesed fan of computer games taking his playstaion with him on the tour and his favourite game is syphon filter. Craig origianlly joined Slipknot as a guitarist but his fasination in technology took over and he became a sampler. He leaves concerts early to maintain his anonymity. He also feels alienated and alone since noone comes near him while he's headbanging. I have also heard that he is the web master of Slipknot1 becaue he doesnt want some little nerd behind a computer spreding the sicness of slipknot and the fans here the news first hand from the members themselves Shawn is the second custom percussionist and co-founder of Slipknot along with Paul. Before joining Slipknot Shawn was a welder and damn good at it. He constructed and built both himselves and Chris' drum sets. He keeps a rivaly up with Sid with often breakes out into fights. Shawn is widely known for his humor and way of entertaining the crowds. He claims that he has had the clown mask for over 15 years. He also ha a wife and 3 kids which he loves very much. Mick is huge and claims that he is 7ft. tall but he isnt. Jim is taller than Mick and only looks taller becuase of his build and because he wears boots but still he is a fucking huge dude. Before joining Slipknot Mick used to play in a heavy death metal band so, writing heavy riffs and just kepping up with the usual mayhem of the band is nothing new to him. He claims to be a fan of Serial Killer's and says "If I were a famous killer, I'd take some of the finer points of a quite afew of them - Albert Fish and Ed Gein spring to mind. But I'm not a violent person by nature. Corey is the vocalist of Slipknot and is a true master of his art,exelling in a number of vocal styles, including rapping, melodic singing and screaming his fucking balls off. Before joing Slipknot Corey worked in a Porno shop in his home town of Des Moines, and also being a member of a band called 'Stone Sour' where he was nicknamed 'Faith'.
